Cultivating young scientific and technological talents is an important measure to accelerate the realization of high-level scientific and technological self-reliance and self-improvement. In order to further enhance the training of young talents, select leading young talents, and build a talent pool in the industry, the China Society of Metals has held 48 metallurgical youth "cloud based" salons for two consecutive years since 2022. A total of 144 young talents in the metallurgical industry have made theme sharing reports, and more than 20 industry experts have served as special hosts, guiding the academic development of metallurgical youth. The fields of exchange and sharing include steel metallurgical processes, refractory materials, intelligent manufacturing, low-carbon metallurgy, welding technology, high-temperature alloys, etc. The Metallurgical Youth Cloud Salon has received widespread attention and praise, and has developed into an influential brand academic exchange activity in the industry. According to incomplete statistics, salon activities have received over a million online clicks on technology worker homes and Sci Tech China websites.
In order to further leverage the platform advantages of the China Society of Metals, promote the sharing of academic knowledge, cross integration, making friends, and common growth of young metallurgical science and technology workers, the China Society of Metals plans to continue to hold the Metallurgical Youth Cloud Salon event in 2024, and plans to organize more than 20 sessions. Inviting three young scientific and technological talents as keynote speakers in each issue, sharing their achievements in the professional field, condensed scientific problems, and cutting-edge scientific and technological research plans in the field; Organize discussions around the theme of the presentation and answer everyone's questions.
2、 Speaker requirements
1. Actively on the front line of technological innovation, supporting the relevant work of the China Society of Metals, and enthusiastic about public welfare activities;
2. Under 45 years old (including 45 years old);
