Journal of Rare Earths is currently running a Special Issue, which aims to present recent research findings from the leading research groups focused on the rare earth materials for biomedical applications.

Special issue information:

Rare earth materials have attracted growing interests in biomedical applications, because of their unique physical and chemical properties originated from the distinctive 4f valence electronic configurations. Numerous studies have demonstrated that rare earth materials can be utilized in bioimaging and sensing, diagnostics, drug delivery, anti-tumor treatment, tissue engineering, etc.

This Special Issue aims to present recent research findings from the leading research groups focused on the rare earth materials for biomedical applications. The content will include, but not be limited to, the design, synthesis, and application examples of rare earth materials.
